The Scottish Rite building was built in 1926 and designated Historical Landmark #8 by the City of Long Beach. The theater within is an outstanding example of early 1900's opulance and lovingly referred to as the "Cathedral." From the 30 foot high ceiling with hand painted designs to the striking stage columns it is a joy to behold.
