South Coast Chorale Announces 10 in 2010 Campaign! |
SCC is now in its 20th Anniversary Season. 20 years for any non-profits arts organization is a true milestone. But in these economic times, it is an amazing success! Clearly we would not be here if it weren’t for many passionate and committed singers and audience members over the years.
These times are truly impacting arts organizations. Government, Corporate and Foundation grants are being reduced or eliminated. As a result, some organizations have folded. Many have pulled back from their traditional programming. Some have had to raise ticket prices in order to survive.
Despite these struggles, SCC is looking towards the future. SCC has a renewed energy and excitement. Membership has doubled since year. Audience sizes are growing. To recognize that these times have also been difficult on our audience, we have reduced ticket prices more than 50% off our standard ticket prices from just a year ago. We have built an army of volunteers who assist us at each concert and beginning in March 2010, SCC will add a second performance for each of our shows.
However, we still really need your help and support. That is why we are announcing our 10 in 2010 campaign! What is this you ask? We are reaching out to you, our supporters, to ask you to join one of the following groups of 10.
| Ten (10) Individuals to make a donation of $250 | |
| Ten (10) Individuals to make a donation of $100 | |
| One Hundred Fifty (150) Individuals to make a donation of$10 |
- Salaries for our incredibly talented Music Director and Creative Director
- Rent fees for our rehearsal space and concert hall
- Instrumentalists for our shows
- The cost of producing programs for each of our concerts
Besides your donation being tax-deductible, we are offering gifts to those people who join our groups of 10 at the $100 and $250 level.
- Individuals joining the group of 10 at the $100 level will receive two complimentary VIP tickets to our June 2010 show (a $80 value).
- Individuals joining the group of 10 at the $250 level will receive same as the $100 level as well as two complimentary Season Subscriptions to our 2010/2011 season (a $150 value).
